Robin de Vries
Robin supports entrepreneurs, investors and leadership teams on executive search assignments across private equity- and venture capital-backed businesses, with a focus on C-level and senior management appointments.
Before joining Apollo in 2025, he worked at whyz Executive Search, where he advised on board, executive and supervisory appointments across public, private equity and pension fund environments. Alongside search execution, he was involved in leadership assessment, market research and process innovation.
Robin holds a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology & Development Sociology from Leiden University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Erasmus University Rotterdam. His academic background, combined with a naturally curious and people-oriented approach, enables him to understand both organisational dynamics and individual leadership motivations.
Outside of work, he enjoys sailing, watersports and exploring topics ranging from history and philosophy to societal and geopolitical developments.
